Reusable Mixing Sticks are practical for epoxy mixing, application, filleting and as a cleaning tool. The squared, beveled end reaches mixing pot corners for thorough mixing and blending in fillers, and for cleaning up excess epoxy. Use the rounded end to shape 3/8″ radius fillets. Cured epoxy pops off easily, so they can be reused many times. ¾”-wide x 5½”. They have found many places in our workshop toolboxes, and they’ll be useful in yours, too. Epoxy will not stick to the smooth, polyethylene surface. - The squared, beveled end reaches into the square corners of the 805 and 806 Mixing Pots for thorough mixing of epoxy and blending of fillers. It is also good for cleaning and removing the small ridges of uncured epoxy left from a filleting job, or to force thickened epoxy into holes and cracks as you would with a putty knife. This beveled end also works well as a wedge to insert and “pop off” parts that have cured in or on a mold, and the mixing stick is less likely than harder, metal tools are to mar or damage the part in the process. - The opposite end of each mixing stick is rounded, making it excellent for shaping clean, 3/8″ radius fillets. - The mixing stick’s shape and bevel make it easy to pick up from a flat surface, even while wearing epoxy-coated gloves. Cured epoxy easily pops off the polished polyethylene surface, so the stick can be reused many times. Because epoxy won’t readily stick to the plastic, you can use the stick itself as a clamping face when you don’t want clamps or other materials stuck to a project, for example, when gluing scarf joints. - These sticks are sold in packages of 8 or 60.
